Fronted by Matthew Koma, aka the writer behind many well-known hits like Zedd’s “Clarity”, Kelly Clarkson’s “Someone”, 5 Seconds of Summers “Babylon”, numerous Carly Rae Jepsen and Shaina Twain songs, and one-time touring member of 90s alt-rockers Eve 6, this breezy Cali indie alt-rock band dropped their self-titled debut EP in 2018, followed by Cloudy With a Chance of Sun EP in 2019. Coming off his recent marriage to 2000’s tabloid darling Hillary Duff, Koma and crew signed to RCA and have seen a pickup on alt stations across the US, including some love from Sirius XM alt nation.
