Our Story
Our goal with NBT (short for “next big thing”) is to bring to light up-and-coming artists from all genres and locations, plus songs that are on the rise (potentially from some of your favorites). While we specialize in rising talent in the indie/alt/songwriter genres, we feel like we know good music when we hear it and aren’t afraid to feature pop, hip hop, americana, and the likes. Good is good.
With over 15 combined years in the music industry + member status with The Recording Academy, the NBT team is comprised of industry badasses who love to scour clubs and venues, music blogs, and continually have their ear to the ground for the latest sounds and talent to bring to you before they hit your radio airwaves or 1000+ cap venue in your town. It’s time for you to hear the next big thing.
Label? Artist manager? Band or recording artist? We are gladly accepting submissions to be featured on our site. We do get hundreds and hundreds of submissions each month, but we try to listen to every submission.
