Billy Raffoul

Acoustic / Singer / Songwriter

Leamington, Canada

Falling somewhere on the spectrum of the harmonies of Brett Dennen, the voice and storytelling ability of The Boss, and the acoustic renderings of early Ryan Adams (think Gold, Demolition, Love is Hell, 29 era), Ontario native Billy Raffoul is a creation truly blending the best of the best.

Raffoul came on our radar around 2018 with the release of “Driver” and “Dark Four Door”. Interscope released the singles, which leaned a little more Kaleo-like alternative songwriter. Releasing a string of EPs with the label, he dropped his debut album in 2020 before parting with the label. Never a fun experience, but Raffoul seems to have only gotten better and honed his skills and sound since with the release of ‘21s Born to Die EP. His new album, For All These Years, will drop in October of this year, and the singles/EPs he’s released via Nettwerk have been nothing short of great. “Better” is primed for Top 40 radio, “In My Arms” has an Amos Lee feel to it, with “Jim Carrey” and “My Old Man” both scream Springsteen.

Raffoul will also drop a new single with American Authors this coming Friday, which could only further his status as one to watch. Is he the next Noah Kahan? Hard to imagine those heights, but can he be a step under and grow to those levels? Absolutely.
